Prices and availability

It is possible to rent the holiday home by the day (minimum 2 nights) or the week. There are three bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds).

Peak season (July 18th-September 5th) the whole house costs £80/night to let for 2-4 nights and £70/night for five or more nights (that's £490 for 7 nights for the whole house - not per person), for 1-6 people, including kids older than 24 months. For the rest of the year, the letting rate is £65 for 2-4 nights and £55 for five or more nights (that's £385 for 7 nights for the whole house), for 3-6 people including kids older than 24 months. For one or two people (eg couples) staying on their own who want to rent the house in this period there is a discount of one free night for each five nights booked (so 7 nights costs £330).

The house sleeps 1-6 people very comfortably. There are also three extra double sofa beds which can also be used (in the front room, kitchen and one of the bedrooms), so the house can take up to 10 - although there is an extra charge of £10 per person per night for each person (including kids older than 24 months) in any group over six. Electricity is included in the price - as is wood for the stoves if you want it. Towels, sheets and duvets are also included. There are no hidden extra costs.

You can book any dates the house is free, there is no need to limit yourself to arriving on a particular day. If no-one is due to arrive in the house the day you leave, then you can leave any time before 4pm. If, on the other hand, someone else is arriving the same day you leave (which may well be the case during busy parts of the summer), we request that you leave the house by 10am, so we can have it prepared for the next visitors.

Availability:

The current bookings are shown below. Note: if you want to come at times other than the summer (eg for winter/autumn/spring walking or for winter skiing etc) you may need to operate the coal fired central heating - contact us if you want to find out more about what this involves).

Black = available
Red = booked (ie that night the house is being used)

Other things to bear in mind:

This house is our second home, not a regular 'commercial' holiday house. Therefore, you are likely to find useful items around the house that wouldn't normally be available in a holiday let (eg board games, DVD films, books etc). It goes without saying that we are happy for these to be used during your holiday - and we would appreciate if they could be left where you found them once you have finished with them. Also, it would be super if you could leave the house as tidy as you feel comfortable making it at the end of your holiday and, if you accidentally break anything important (eg something more than just a glass or plate), it would be super if you could either buy an replacement in the nearby town of Nowy Targ or send us some money to pay for whatever it was!

If you want to have more than 6 people stay, we ask that you pay a extra fee of £10 per person per night. The absolute maximum number of people that can stay at the house is ten (including kids).

We can accept payment by UK bank cheque or by direct bank transfer.

For bookings within 12 weeks of when you would like to stay, we require full payment in advance. If you would like to pre-book your holiday more than 12 weeks in advance then a 20% unrefundable deposit (minimum £50) will secure the dates you want.

We may ask to verify your ID and/or passport and reserve the right to refuse rental to anyone.

Many of those people flying to Krakow in Poland will decide to spend one or two nights in Krakow at the beginning and/or end of their holiday. When we do this, we sometimes use Krakow Old Town Apartments to rent a place to stay (see www.warsawshotel.com)

Send us an e-mail and we will tell you more and can answer any questions you have.
